The American College of Sports Medicine recommends that aerobic activity
be performed three to five times per week, for 20 to 60 minutes at
an intensity of 60 percent to 90 percent of your maximum heart rate.
(To determine your maximum heart rate, subtract your age from 220,
then multiply this number by 0.60 for the low end of your target
heart range and by 0.90 for the higher range.)
